It varies. Some people report a change within the first few weeks, others notice little. Your clinician reviews your response and adjusts your protocol.
Expect a brief pinch. The needle is short and fine. For possible reactions, see Important safety information.
A supplement is swallowed and may be partly broken down in digestion. The injection bypasses digestion. This is a prescription, compounded for you after a clinician’s review.
The two are often paired. Your clinician decides whether both belong in your protocol. See NAD+ →
Your body keeps making its own glutathione. You can pause, stop or restart with your clinician.
Glutathione is a compounded medication and is not FDA-approved. Use only the dose and schedule your clinician sets. Common side effects of the injection include soreness or redness at the injection site, mild stomach upset, and a temporary sulfur-like smell. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have an active cancer diagnosis, as antioxidant supplementation can interfere with some cancer treatments. Tell your clinician if you have asthma, since glutathione has irritated airways in some sensitive people, and about all medications and supplements you take. Store refrigerated and do not freeze. This is not a complete list; your clinician will review risks with you.
